The 42V.2A charger we offer is suitable for electric scooters with 36V lithium batteries, including models from GOTRAX and other popular brands like GLX V2, Apex, XR Ultra, XR Elite, G3, G4, G MAX Ultra, and Vibe.

It is normal for the charger to heat up during charging, as this indicates it is functioning properly. However, if the charger does not work, this could be due to a broken charger, poor contact, or a dead battery. If the battery is not properly connected, check the battery port. If the battery is faulty, it may be safe to test the battery voltage.

The charger's specifications include an input of AC100-240V, 50/60Hz, 2A, and a charging voltage of DC42V with a current of 1.5A. The charger port is a DC5.5mm connector. The package includes the 42V 2A charger and a US plug cable.

To use the charger, first check the voltage and connector of your battery. Connect the charger to AC power, and the LED will turn green. Then, connect the DC output to the battery, and the LED will turn red, indicating fast charging. When the LED turns green from red, the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the charger from both the AC and the battery.

It's important to check for any issues with the battery, ensure the charger voltage matches the battery, and verify the battery is properly connected to the charger.

The charger is compatible with a wide range of electric scooter models, including Hiboy S2 Lite, S2 Pro, S2, KS4, KS4 Pro, MAX, MAX3, MAX V2, NEX, NEX3, and NEX5, as well as Jetson Adventure, Bolt, Bolt Pro, and Metro Bike. It also works with GOTRAX models like GLX V2, Apex, XR Ultra, XR Elite, G3, G4, G MAX Ultra, and Vibe.

Please note that this charger is not suitable for 24V, 25.2V, 29.4V, 48V, or 54.6V batteries. It is designed for 36V lithium-ion batteries with a 1-prong DC plug and a 5.5*2.1mm connector size.

The charger features an intelligent IC chip that recognizes a fully charged battery and automatically switches to a saver mode, protecting against over-heating, over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit. When the charger stops working, it will automatically power off to prevent the battery from over-discharging and damage, extending the battery's lifespan.

This product is eligible for replacement or refund within 30 days, and the manufacturer provides an additional 12-month warranty.
